GTA 6 Extended Look Drops on Netflix August 27

Rockstar Games just dropped a major surprise. On August 27, 2026, fans will finally get a deeper look at Grand Theft Auto VI — and it’s happening first on Netflix.The presentation, officially titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, premieres exclusively for Netflix subscribers at 3:00 PM ET (12:00 PM PT). Six hours later, at 9:00 PM ET, the same content will go live for free on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the GTA VI website.

This is the first time Rockstar has partnered with a streaming platform for a major GTA reveal. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed the move is designed to reach a much wider audience beyond the usual gaming crowd. Netflix called it a “first-of-its-kind partnership.”
