Hell’s legions are calling once again. Blizzard has officially announced Ladder Season 15 for Diablo II: Resurrected, kicking off a fresh race to Level 99 with new opportunities for powerful loot, updated balance, and quality-of-life improvements via Patch 3.3. This season continues the momentum from the Reign of the Warlock expansion while introducing targeted item tweaks (many previously ladder-only items move to non-ladder), Terror Zone adjustments, and a long list of bug fixes. Here’s everything you need to know about the start date, global launch times, what’s new, and how to prepare.
Ladder Season 15 Start Date and Global Launch Times
Season 14 ends on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
Patch 3.3 begins rolling out on Tuesday, August 18.
Ladder Season 15 officially starts on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
Exact regional launch times:
Region | Date & Time |
|---|---|
North America | August 21, 5:00 p.m. PDT |
Europe | August 22, 1:00 a.m. BST / 2:00 a.m. CEST |
Asia | August 22, 8:00 a.m. CST / 9:00 a.m. KST |
These times follow Blizzard’s standard staggered regional rollout. Players in other time zones (e.g., Australia, South America, Middle East) should convert from the nearest official region (PDT for most of the Americas, CEST/BST for Europe/Africa, or KST/CST for Asia-Pacific).
Ladder Modes Available
As with previous seasons, four modes will be available:
Pre-Expansion Ladder — Standard play (original four acts only)
Pre-Expansion Hardcore Ladder — One-life version (original four acts)
Ladder — Full five acts including Lord of Destruction
Hardcore Ladder — One-life version with full expansion content
Shared Stash and Character Transfer Rules
When Season 14 ends, all Ladder characters transfer to their corresponding non-ladder groups. Shared Stash items move into special withdraw-only tabs (marked with a check-marked “Past” box).
Important: Any items still sitting in those tabs from Season 13 will be permanently lost at the Season 14 end. You will have the entire duration of Season 15 to withdraw Season 14 items. Once Season 15 ends, the tabs refresh again and older items disappear forever. Plan your withdrawals carefully!

Practice leveling routes and farming spots on non-ladder or single-player.
Keep an eye on community resources (Maxroll, diablo2.io, etc.) for updated Ladder Start tier lists once the season goes live.
Decide early whether you’ll go Softcore or Hardcore, Pre-Expansion or full Ladder.

Final Thoughts
Ladder Season 15 offers a clean slate with meaningful quality-of-life and balance updates rather than a massive new systems overhaul. The adjusted timing (patch a few days before ladder start) should give players a smoother transition, and the item tweaks plus Terror Zone refinements will keep the early and mid-ladder experience fresh.
May your ascent through the Ladder be swift and violent. See you in Sanctuary on August 21!
